About Paul
Paul Treleven was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. He served in the South African Airforce in the early eighties in the Angolan war. This is where his love affair with aircraft started and spent his free time sketching.
Paul went on to become a SWAT paramedic and captain in the emergency services in South Africa and crewed an EMS helicopter for many years. After almost losing his life in a rescue operation, he decided to leave the service and has been painting in oils ever since.
Paul is self taught and has paintings across the globe. Owners of his work include the Smithsonian Air and Space museum, John Travolta, Celine Dion, Nelson Mandela, SAAB Aerospace, Virgin Atlantic, Southwest Airlines etc.
